Giovanni Cosua is the protagonist of the new exhibition promoted by Zuecca Project, which provides Spazio Ridotto, a non-profit area devoted to culture and dialogue, based in Venezia. The exhibition I don’t wanna wake you up but I really wanna show u somethin’ is the second one after I’m not afraid, hosted in 2016 at the Union Gallery in London.
The title of the exhibition recalls the writing immortalized in one of the pictures of the collection and it expresses the message that Giovanni Cosua wanted to convey: the venetian photographer wants to emotionally engage the audience in order to trigger a deep reflection on the contemporary society. The photos immortalize situations of everyday life in order to portray the complex dynamics of different and far societies. The exhibit is the personal journey of Giovanni Cosua around the world, the evidence of different realities, from Indonesia to the Republic of Capua, a lost island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
The exhibit takes place at Spazio Ridotto, which is near Piazza San Marco and only few steps away from Ristorante Centrale. There are only few days left before the closing of the exhibit, so we recommend visiting the exhibition – the entry ticket is free! – and stopping by Ristorance Centrale to have a break. We’re waiting for you!
