Italian cuisine, you know, is full of recipes coming from every region. That is why we chose to enrich our menu with not true venetian courses.
One of them is lasagne, a dish that goes back to the Angevin court (we’re talking about the Thirteenth century!) but gradually spread all over the peninsula. Nowadays lasagne’s most important recipe is the modern alla bolognese, which includes the traditional ragù (meat sauce) from Bologna, bechamel (white sauce) and italian Parmesan cheese. This dish is always included in the menu, to give clients the opportunity to find out about Italy without going outside Venice.
Lasagne is on top of the most known (and the tastiest) recipes of the Italian tradition: you just have to try it.
