There’s always some room for the dessert! Kori Restaurant knows it and today it presents a famous spoon dessert recipe: the profiteroles.
The profiteroles are a dessert of French or Italian origin: it seems that a cook called Popelini a the service of Caterina de’ Medici’s court. In fact, in Florence the sweet is called bongo.
In simple words, the profiteroles are filled choux pastry balls with Chantilly cream or pastry cream and covered by a thin layer of chocolate, which is both smooth and soft. They are quite versatile. They’re suitable for many different occasions and you can modify the recipe as you want: the filling can be lemon or chocolate cream and you can use white chocolate to cover it.
