Despite its tradition is actually fresh (it first appears in cookbooks during the second half of the XX century), Tiramisù keeps its place in the rank of the most famous italian desserts.
The origin of this tasty recipe belongs to many traditions: the main ones go back to Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia regions, as we can easily describe them as Tiramisù’s “geographical parents”; but we suggest you to notice that this tiny cake is similar, as far as ingredients and preparation are concerned, to some foreign desserts like the charlotte, made with bavarese cream and ladyfingers biscuits, and also like trifle (known in Italy as zuppa inglese), that is prepared with ladyfingers biscuits dipped in Alchèrmes liquor.
The ingredients used to make Tiramisù are simple but delicious: we should not forget to mention coffee, ladyfingers buiscuits and mascarpone cheese, put in layers (generally two) with a sprinkle of cocoa powder on top.
Kori restaurant’s chefs will be glad to suggest you to try our home-made Tiramisù, to finish your meal with a touch of delicacy.
